EGO TRIPPIN' FOR A REASON: HYPERBOLE WITH A CAUSE

From Muhammad Ali to Nikki Giovanni, “ego trippin’” has been an important pastime. “Ego trippin’” occurs when a writer uses extreme and colorful images along with lots of hyperbole to let the world know how absolutely wonderful something is. This workshop provides participants with the opportunity to truly stretch their imagination and uplift themselves in the process. Poet Olu Butterfly Woods will get you “ego trippin’” while you write a poem with style and read it with attitude!
