Enter the rejuvenating cycle of enjoying the environment, reading about it, and then returning to nature with a deeper appreciation. With a nod to the influence of Thoreau, a lecture by Colleen Webster discusses contemporary nature writers, including Mary Oliver, Terry Tempest Williams, Scott Russell Sanders, Janisse Ray, Amy Blackmarr, Michael Pollan, Alison Hawthorn Deming, Sue Hubbell, and Bill McKibbon. The talk can be tailored to the regions and interests of the audience.
