AGRICULTURE, THE ENVIRONMENT, OUR FOOD AND SUSTAINABILITY

Drawing from personal experience as the owner of his family farm, David Smith examines the impact of industrialized agriculture over the last half-century. Smith invites audience discussion as he makes the case for sustainable farming in the midst of growing public concern about environmental impact, livestock treatment, animal and human health, and food quality. Adult and high school audiences. Requires a power point projector and screen.

David Smith is a farmer, retired International Marketing Executive, and retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel. After retiring from the military, he re-invented his family’s farm and fostered a booming business through direct marketing.
