Totally Ekphrastic!: Picturing America through Poetry

A poetry writing workshop based on the great works of art featured in Picturing America.

MHC has developed 45-minute classroom workshops designed to enhance your Picturing America resource kit.

Our talented poets will inspire your students to write their own creative poetry based on these classic works of American art--a process known as ekphrastic poetry.

Workshops are from December 2008 to June 2009.

Workshops are for grades 3-12, with a maximum of 30 students per workshop. The fee for a workshop is $150, plus mileage.
