- War of 1812 Resources for Teachers: Maryland's War of 1812 Bicentennial Commission, Star-Spangled 200, has put together a list of lesson plans, links and assessments related to the upcoming Bicentennial.
- Civil War Lesson Center: The Civil War Trust, a nationwide preservation agency, has developed a comprehensive website for teachers including Civil War lesson plans, PowerPoints and assessments for elementary-high school students.
