Poets' Corner

Bring one of these gifted poets to your corner of the state to read, discuss, and experience poetry!

B Bring one of our poets to your community!

We invite you to experience anew the nurturing gifts that poetry can bring to our lives and spirits.

By linking both older and contemporary poetry to the arts, the natural world, and our daily lives, we can re-affirm the power and importance of the poetry around and within us.

Bring a poetry workshop to your corner of the state! Workshops span the diverse nature of poetry from Walt Whitman to hip-hop. Participants can try their hand at writing poetry, join in an open-mic, discover the words of great Maryland and world poets, make their own book of poetry, or expand the mind and body with poetry and yoga.

Nonprofit organizations, senior centers, recreation centers, libraries, after-school programs and others can apply for one of these presentations by filling out our online Application Form.
