Maryland Center for the Book
Baltimore city students wait to hear author James McBride speak at the Lewis Museum in fall 2009.
The Maryland Center for the Book (MCFB) develops and supports programs that promote and celebrate books, reading, libraries, Maryland writers, and the state’s literary heritage. Join MCFB and our network of partners for literary programs and outreach activities that engage citizens across Maryland.
One of 50 state affiliates of the Library of Congress Center for the Book, MCFB is a MHC program with satellites at Talbot County Free Library and Washington County Free Library. Please contact Andrea Lewis for more information.
