MHC's Grant Program wants to help your nonprofit organization use the disciplines of the humanities to bring communities together!

Do you have a project that would engage Marylanders in the rich and varied aspects of our shared human experience?

Does your organization have a vision for humanities-
based programming?

If so, we invite you to explore our Grants Program!

Through the generous support of the National Endowment for the Humanities, MHC has granted millions of dollars to Maryland local and grassroots organizations. These funds support programs that challenge Marylanders to explore the critical issues that affect our lives every day.

For more information on grants, please contact Lydia Woods at 410-685-0303 or lwoods@mdhc.org.

"As first-time grantseekers, we were happy to find that
the application process was very straightforward."

"The MHC staff was wonderful and very supportive. Even after we were awarded our grant, they were quick to respond to any questions we had, and offered helpful advice."

"It was great to have the resources to realize our vision!"
