Grant Administration

Organizations receiving a grant from the Maryland Humanities Council must administer it according to the terms of the Grant Agreement. All grant projects are subject to terms of the General Grant Provisions, and the Grant Agreement includes any special conditions or restrictions.

General Grant Provisions, including administrative forms, are available by clicking here.

Crediting and publicizing the Council's support for the grant project is an important part of the grant conditions. The Council's logo must be used on all materials and products related to or produced by the grant project. Various versions of the Council's logos are available.

Your project needs be publicized so that the public will know it is taking place. Here are some tips on producing and publicizing your project.

Finally, if you have any questions, need advice, need project or budget changes approved, contact the Council. We want your grant program to be successful!
