The air is crisper, jackets are back, and when you look at the leaves, they’re just beginning to turn. It must be…Book Festival season once again!

The three main book festivals in our area are the Baltimore Book Festival September 25, 26 and 27, the National Book Festival September 26 and the Capital Book Festival October 3.

Of all three, I’m most excited about the Baltimore Book Festival since it takes place in the lovely Mt. Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore and because author James McBride (of Song Yet Sung) will be speaking Sunday, September 27 at noon.
