A one-time donation of $10.00 will be added to your mobile phone bill or deducted from your prepaid balance. Donor must be age 18 or older or have parental permission to participate. By texting YES, the user agrees to the terms and conditions. WHAT YOUR GIFT DOES


Do you know what a donation of just $10 makes possible?

For every $10 you donate, you allow us:

  • to serve one of the more than 18,000 middle- and high-school students who conduct independent research projects in our Maryland History Day competition;
  • to honor one of the more than 1,800 fourth–tenth graders who write thoughtful letters to an author whose book changed their lives in our Letters About Literature contest;
  • to bring history to life for one of Chautauqua's 3,500+ audience members;
  • to place one of 7,000 free copies of the One Maryland One Book title in a public high school classroom or public library; and
  • so very much more!

That's a whole lot accomplished with one simple gift!

 

HOW TO GIVE

Step One:  Compose a new text message to 20222.

Step Two:  Type Give2MHC plus your first name, last name, and email address; then press SEND.

Step Three:  When you receive the confirmation text, reply "YES" to confirm your support.

Step Four:  Check your next phone bill to confirm your $10 gift is listed; then pay your bill.

Step Five:  Feel great about supporting programs that have a positive impact on Maryland.

 

Depending on your carrier, you may donate up to five (5) times per month. And yes, your gift is tax-deductible. You can either use your phone bill as a receipt or request one from www.mobilegiving.org/SMS_Donations.
